I didn’t realize how much I learned about business from my Dad. For my entire life I’ve watched him work over 60 hours per week in my family’s restaurant business. By 2007 my husband and I started a training institute dedicated to providing great care to LGBT couples, but also dedicated to training therapists to provide competent care to our community.
But one issue kept coming up for the therapists in our training program.
How do I get good full-fee couples?
I studied business and marketing directly with some of the best people in the industry, including Jeff Walker, Ryan Levesque, Aaron Fletcher, and Marissa Murgatroyd, just to name a few that were pivotal in the creation of our business, which now comfortably sustains my family, and employs talented people on almost every continent, without forcing me into a group practice model or to work long hours.
I put all those concepts into a therapy-applicable industry, and then started teaching established therapists this method in 2016.

How does this work?
The Mastermind is a three-month program and system that provides the accountability and support necessary to see results. We’ve removed all the distractions and “shiny objects” that routinely stop clinicians from improving their practice. Instead, you’ll be supported through a simple three-phase process to increase your recurring revenue (without adding a ton of direct-care hours per week).
How much does it cost?
We’ve included $31,000 in bonuses and additional trainings to help you become successful. The actual pricing is provided at the bottom of the page (so long as the program is currently open, otherwise you’ll see a wait list registration).
How often do we meet?
You’ll meet with Sam Garanzini once a month for business coaching and to overcome any sticking points as you interact with the videos and worksheets.
You’ll meet with Alapaki Yee once a month for accountability coaching to help you keep the momentum goin3.
We meet as a group once a month (usually on the 3rd Monday of the month at 9am PT) for a clinician or business-focused meeting.
Twice a year, those monthly meetings are actually full day “Accelerators” where you can work side by side with Sam, Alapaki, and the entire staff so that you can simply unmute and get quick answers to your questions or ask for feedback on your current project. You can literally accomplish entire steps all at one time in just one day, kind of like working with friends around a table at the library.
Twice a year, the group meets for our “book club” where we discuss applying a business or clinical book to.
Is there a deadline?
Unfortunately, yes. The group is very small by design. If you are seeing a registration link below, there is room for ONE position, and then it is closed
How am I supported after the program ends?
Nearly 100% of our Mastermind members move directly into our month-to-month alumni program. You can choose to pay your balance in full at any time up until seven (7) days of your $500.00 Deposit. All payments in #1 and #2 will be adjusted to reflect deposit and credit(s).
Refunds: If you are not completely satisfied with your experience let us know within seven (7) days of your $500 deposit by sending an email to admin@couplestherapytraining.org that includes your name and email address, and we will refund all payment, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit.
Confidentiality/Responsibility: We will keep any information you provide us about your practice strictly confidential. Likewise, we require that, within the Program, any information we provide you with that we designate as confidential, you must treat it as such. We will provide you specific and valuable information, guidance, roadmap, templates, ideas on how to maintain and grow your practice/business/company. Please note that your business decisions as the sole proprietor, entrepreneur, owner, director or lead of your own practice/company are your own. CTTA, the Advanced Couples Therapy Mastermind Program – which includes the Small Practice Big Profit and Advanced Gottman Clinical Track – do not hold any responsiblity for the decisions you make in your practice/business/company.
Termination: We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the Program at any time and at our sole discretion, including but not limited to failing to comply with these Terms and Conditions. As a participant in Program, you agree to not misappropriate the contents, logo and other visual media we have created, as this is our property and it is protected by copyright laws. “Teachable” (our Learning Management System) and its contents (photos, videos, exercises) are copyright of the Couples Therapy Training Academy (“CTTA”). All rights are reserved for and by CTTA. You may use the materials as a tool to complement your clinical coaching while you’re in the Program. Any redistribution or reproduction of parts or all of the contents in any form is strictly prohibited. You may not distribute, commercially exploit or record any content. Nor may you transmit it or store it on any other website or any form of an electronic retrieval or recording system/platform. Teachable and CTTA monitors violations. If you violate the above copyright statements and disclaimers, you understand you will automatically be unenrolled in the system, the course(s), termination in the program as a Mastermind member, and further legal damages. Further, you agree to comply with all State, Federal, and international Law with respect to your participation in the Program.
